ADSL ("Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line") works by splitting your existing telephone line signal into two, one for voice and the other for data. Your existing telephone line will operate as before but with advantage of being able to access the Internet at any time, even when you are using your telephone. After paying your monthly subscription to i2 Networks you will not incur any additional call costs for Internet use.
